Was not for sure if it was the receiver or the optical cable. So I went with the cheaper option of replacing the cable first. Havent had any problem since. Just hope these last for 20 plus years like my other ones did.

This cable worked perfectly and my system sounds amazing. The best thing is that the ends fit nice and secure into ports. Other brands I used were loose and would fall out.

Last time it was the optical cable. Ran down to Best Buy and bought this. My fault in thinking a 4 foot cable could make a 5 foot span with creativity. Went back and exchanged easily for an 8 foot cable & paid the difference.

This cable was just barely long enough for me, but I suppose that was my problem. This cable works great for me, and a much better price than the overpriced competitors.

I tried HDMI but could not get any sound no matter how I connected my TV. BlueTooth worked, sort of. The sound came out but about 1 second after the TV did. It was awful. I Bought this long cable and plugged it in and WaLa! It sounded perfect. So easy. No sound degradation at all. I have a self-powered sub and Klipsch speakers BOOM! This makes my TV sound like I am in a movie theater. The cable made all the difference. Buy it!
