Used the Rocketfish optical cable to connect my sound system to my TV. The cable is well made and reliable. Connection was very easy and provides excellent audio.

I was very pleased to order this cable and with the speed of delivery. It is exactly the right product.

I purchased a long cable to go from the TV to ADC on the stereo, the connector is a bit loose in the receiving socket which leads to noise. I had to support the weight of the cable to avoid problems - at this point it works fine. Other optical cable I use have tighter fit, no issues.

Better than the cable that came in my Sonos box. Simple solution if you can’t use HDMI

I purchased soundbar for my living room TV and because of the various devices connected in my system, I needed a way to connect the TV to the soundbar. If I used HDMI, then my Chromecast connected to the TV would not play sound thru the soundbar. And my soundbar only has 1 HDMI input. But I was able to leave everything plugged into the TV and connect audio back to the soundbar via the TOSLINK. This Rocket Fish optical digital cable was exactly what I needed, and the 4' length was perfect for my setup. I suppose audiophiles may notice a bit of degradation because audio is running via the TOSLINK instead of HDMI, but I can't hear it.

This was used to connect the Optical Port on the Wireless Receiver Base for my RF Headphones to my HDTV. The cable is nice and sturdy and while I had slight difficulty getting it into my TV at first, some firm force got it in for good. The length is perfect for and is what seems to be most important in this product. If your device of choice is going to be far away from your source, you may be better off buying the 8' or 12' version of this product.

I needed a longer optical cable to run inside the wall and this fit the bill perfectly. Seems well made and of high quality.

I recently purchased a Samsung QLED 65 inch TV. My audio receiver is an older Yamaha A/V that does not support HDMI CEC communication with the new QLED TV. The next best choice is an optical connection for audio between the two. To say the least I was very surprised and impressed with the HD Dolby sound being sent through this optical cable. I feel there is no difference in sound quality between this cable and an HDMI connection
