Once we got this, hooked it up to the TV, that was it! No worry about having 4-8 wires behind our entertainment center anymore. Geek Squad were the people who recommended this and for that I thank them!

This one showed up at a good sale price. I had some difficulty orientating the cable in the sockets on both ends. After Connecting it is working as expected.

I don't know about the sound quality of this vs what came with the soundbar, but the make and durability of this cable is significantly better. the one that came with my soundbar is slim and flimsy. This is thicker and clearly of better grade.

My daughters cat chewed the old Opitcal cable and we replaced it with another Rocketfish, otherwise I'm sure the old one would have lasted for years.....

There is a difference.... mainly on the low cheap end of the product spectrum. Best Buy does a good job of selling quality cables so rest assured this cable is worth it's cost.
