I plugged the TV into the surge protector and the surge protector into the wall outlet. THREE WEEKS LATER, a power surge due to nearby lightning strike hit my house. After that moment, the TV will not power on. I reported this to Best Buy and they said to contact Rocketfish. I reported this to Rocketfish since they warranty up to $30,000 in damages if your electronic device is plugged into their surge protector. They had me file a claim through a 3rd party company named CyberPower.. Three months later, they tell me that the claim is denied and they won't pay me anything. What was the point of buying this surge protector "designed for HD TVs"?!?!?!?! A surge protector that failed to protect my new TV is one thing. A company that will not stand behind their warranty is another. I would give it 0 stars if I could.
