When I added an amazon fire stick, I needed a second surge protector. My single surge protector was so big it covered up the second plug, so I purchased this. It fits nicely behind the TV and has a low profile so you can push your tv tight up against the wall. Now I can protect my tv & amazon stick from surges. The high amount of joule protection is an added bonus.

I purchased the item to protect my dishwasher. I had to replace a dishwasher when my neighborhood experienced many surges due to new construction and the dishwasher's computer blew. Very easy to install - it gives me a lot of peace of mind knowing my dishwasher is protected from electricity surges and the warranty is great.
