Perfect protection for garage door opener!

It stays firmly in the outlet hanging upside down plugged in the outlet in the ceiling. The cord for the garage door was pretty heavy and stuck great! Also the light let's you know you are protected. Also there are a few other outlets I use for my shop vac to clean my car-

Found a Short and Kept Hoing!

I suspected a problem, but could smell the wires after the protector kicked the short back. . The little gadget kept going, though, and worked fine on another outlet. Electrician is handling the short that destroyed two other electronic things. Thanks for recommending it, Best Buy. Great product.

I added a whole home surge protector and several of these at the appliance outlets for extra insurance. We have had plenty of power glitches and outages since then and so far no more damage.

You wouldn't think to install a surge protector for your appliances but now I highly recommend a surge protector for all expensive appliances, for your peace of mind. Plus, insurance will not cover it in some instances if you do not have surge protection devices.

It is also never recommended to plug your wall mounted tv directly to the wall outlet. The electrical current is never clean. This compact surge protector was a perfect fit behind my tv. No obstruction due to the plug input being on the side of the adapter. definitely purchase it if you have a wall mounted tv.
