Now I can use my home theater setup for movies but use only the TV for any other shows.

The picture on both televisions are crystal clear and the color are radiant!! Do not buy any other brand they do not work right the sound will be delayed.

Unfortunately, using this splitter, both monitors were only allowed to be the same view. I needed to extend not duplicate the view so I had to find another solution. I must say, though, that the display quality was excellent and it was an "open box" item, so the value was definitely there which is why I gave it 4 stars.

Purchased another and split it to the tv too so now three can play on different monitors. Note this mirrors only.

The other two, less expensive devices did not work at all, and required a lot of dip-switch settings. The Rocketfish was just plug and play, sweet and easy. You get what you pay for.

I took the hdmi from the directv to the receiver then th took the output hdmi from the receiver to the hdmi splitter. One tv in the living room and the other out to the tv on the patio.
