The audio would pass but not the video. This item is a good work around with minor draw backs. The sound is good and video great. Not happy with Samsung support and their engineering stinks. This said by me working a life time in TV. The listed product is great. Don't expect the Best Buy employees to be of much help unless you use the Geek Squad and even they will struggle with this problem.
