    it does what its advertised as doing. HDCP protection is in full effect still so using a fire stick or some other device like that connected to a capture card(like elgato) it will not display. Not a huge problem. Only other complaint is that the LED's are very distracting when watching a movie in the dark.

    I play video games in my spare time, I use different size screens for different games. my computer monitor for FPS and a larger TV for everything else. I was switching back and forth and I knew this would eventually wear down the connectors and this item prevented the eventual connector fail. simple plug and play.
