    This device does exactly what you would expect. One small item to note. By splitting the signal you are adding and additional monitor. So if you video card supports 2 displays, and you already have 2 monitors hooked up, adding the splitter will add a third monitor.

    I bought this unit because my new 4K TVs require HDCP 2.2 compliance This new protocol prevents copying digital audio and video content as it travels across connections and I was getting non-compliant messages. I use this to split my cable TV signal to 2 rooms with no delay. I highly recommend this unit if it fits your needs.
