I was concerned that it might not work because of the "hand shake" required between 2 different formats. Not to worry; it works perfectly in this application. The only thing I notice is that it will temporarily (a few seconds) lose connection if I turn on the second set while the other is on. This is not a real problem and is to be expected while it connects to the second set. It works perfectly in my application. Highly recommended if you have a need to split your HDMI device.

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Splitter works good, however I’ve had some minor streaming oddities on PC (the oddities only occur in one of the TVs) not a huge deal all other devices split signal great with no issues (I have a hub going into the splitter). Not too concerned about the PC video issue because that TV has always had some strange things happen when a PC is connected. PC gaming is not the issue, it’s with video playback and not a big deal I can just playback on Xbox instead, looks better anyways.

Worked great with a Firestick...
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I needed to have a A/V signal on two TV's. One has an EARC input and is a 4K. The other TV is 1080 resolution with no ARC input. I was able to plug a Firestick into the input of the splitter and run the two outputs from the splitter to the two TV's. The setup worked fine with A/V on both TV's and with no degrading of the picture on the 4K TV as I expected due to some of the reviews. For more information the 1080 TV is connected with HDMI/RF extender.

Works but not all the time

It works most of the time but occasionally, it will drop the signal and the screen goes blank. Its better than the cheaper one i got on amazon that didn't work at all but for the price, I expected this to work perfectly

Solved My Problem

So getting together has become a problem. In order to have a Movie Night I had to have one television in a screened in porch and another on an adjoining deck. A splitter for sending the same signal from my Blu-ray player to the two televisions would be needed. As usual I found the right product at Best Buy.

What I was looking for

I purchased this along with some 4k uhd high speed hdmi cords so I could hook my 2 TVs up to my satellite reciever. It does the trick. I might notice a slight increase in video quality, but like I said, I dont really know much about that yet. But if you want to connect 2 devices together this works just fine.
