This HDMI splitter works great to allow us to use our tv in the living room around the corner wall.

I purchased this so I could use it in tandem with an elgato game capture device and xbox. It was easy to set up and worked great for about 3-4 months until it started acting up with "no signal", which required lots of unplugging and replugging for it to work. A couple of days after this first problem it stopped sending any signals whatsoever. I checked each HDMI cable and my game capture device thoroughly and identified this HDMI splitter as the problem. This was further confirmed when I did tests on just this HDMI converter with monitors with the same no signal problem. I tried to use stronger power adapters after confirming it was not sending signals but even this did not help. While it was working it did exactly what it was supposed to and was as easy as can be setting up. The problem lies in quality assurance and product reliability, so purchase with caution. I definitely did not get my moneys worth.

This handy splitter plugged into our older work system and solved a basic problem in no time at all. Easy to use and inexpensive.

This device works fine when only one output is being used. Immediately when I plugged in my capture card the device lost signal. The troubleshooting guide encouraged me to unplug and replug in the device, which fixed the signal. However, the signal to my TV was downgraded to 1080p completely defeating the purpose of having the splitter. There are cheaper and better working alternatives everywhere else and I encourage BestBuy to stock more brands.

Had a dual monitor setup and needed to split the signal. This did the trick and works as expected.

It does the job intended that does not seem like much until you have units that don't. Many do not work as advertised this does.

Worked prefect for my split use from a DirecTV. I had an issue with a few other brands image cutting out.

If you get this item, make sure you also purchase a USB adapter that has at leas a 0.5w output. Anything less (they package it with 0.2w) does not provide enough power to operate it correctly and consistantly.

Good unit but didn’t work for the purpose I needed it for. I wanted three screens in total with laptop.

bought it few days ago, cause needed it for 4k gaming and streaming. but it would only allow 1080, it never did 4k. had brand new hdmi wires that worked by themselves for 4k but when put with the splitter it wasnt doing anything past 1080. also the unit itself felt flimsy thought it would be sturdier

Does not pass Dolby Vision. Also downgraded both outputs to lowest resolution. I bought this because it was advertised to help with splitting off the Audio to an older Receiver (ie 4K HDR and DV to 4K TV via HDCP 2.2 and audio to an older AVR which is HDCP 1.4). Well it downgraded the 4K output to 1080p matching the AVR. This seems like a great unit if your 2 displays are the same type and if you don't care about Dolby Vision HDR.

Wouldn't maintain a signal. After about 30 minutes, the screen would go blank, and I'd have to power cycle te Rocketfish splitter to get an image back on screen. I've troubleshot everything I can think of (resolution and refresh rate changes, cable swaps), even removed the 2nd device in case there might be a conflict, to test if the video would be stable if it were just source (PC) --> splitter --> destination (monitor). The Rocketfish still dropped the signal and had to be restarted to put an image back on the monitor. I am thankful Best Buy has a good return policy and this misadventure hasn't really cost me anything, but this just isn't a usable device.
