Not as advertised, not 4K hdr

Bought product to split signal from Xbox one x. Straight connection between tv and Xbox has green across the board. Put through splitter and it did not recognize TV as 4K tv. Called rocket fish who literally said this splitter downgrades the signal to 1080p. It DOES NOT pass through 4K or HDR. Badly advertised. Got refund.

    No ARC Sonos support

Not compatible to split audio to an ARC output so it doesn't work at all if you have a Sonos system and want to hook this up to a projector from a streaming box

    Worked for about 2 months

Product worked...for about 2 months. After that my main screen would go blank for about 30 seconds and then come back on. It would do this every 10 minutes or so. As soon as I disconnected this HDMI splitter it stopped. It also would not pass through certain features and functions available through the HDMI standard. MY advice is DO NOT buy this splitter. You are better off using Zone 2 output on your receiver...or some other secondary output.

Is not detected as 4k only 1080... Splits fine but resolution is detected as 1080 by tv and computer. Computer I can make a custom resolution but while playing Cyberpunk2077 caps resolution to 1080 because that is what it detects from device. Doesn't just "Passthrough" lame af

    No sound

I dont get any sound from my soundbar when i use this. I have tried using a laptop and a roku stick as my source and one output to a projector and the other to a soundbar. I have tried different cables and turning them on in different orders but no luck. Definitely wouldnt waste my money on this product again.

Downgrades the video and audio signals

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

This product downgrades the video and audio signals to the lowest common denominator. If you try to split a 4k signal to a 4k TV and an HD TV you will only get HD on both TVs. A pro audio signal, such as Dolby TrueHD or DTS, that you receiver is capable of playing will be downgraded to Dolby Digital or lesser if you use this splitter. There is no Pass-Through as advertised.

    Defective and Overpriced

Overpriced junk. Passed video fine. Did not pass audio. I am an AV professional so I know what I'm talking about. That's what I get for not having the time to order a professional product from a company like Atlona.
