If you try to split a 4k signal to a 4k TV and an HD TV you will only get HD on both TVs. A pro audio signal, such as Dolby TrueHD or DTS, that you receiver is capable of playing will be downgraded to Dolby Digital or lesser if you use this splitter. There is no Pass-Through as advertised.

Defective and Overpriced

I am an AV professional so I know what I'm talking about. That's what I get for not having the time to order a professional product from a company like Atlona.
