    I tried to repurpose an old splitter that was not gold plated when I moved my cable router to coexist with my TV connection. Barely worked at all, problem solved when I used this newer gold-plated equipment.

    Unable to obtain a 3-way from my cable company but was able to get at Best Buy. Corrosion resistant is a plus as well as the gold-plating.
