I think they're overpriced and marked up quite a bit compared to other brands. 2.1 is the way to go for next-generation gaming.

Listen to the experts at Best Buy.

But this being “bleeding edge tech,” and one of very few REAL HDMI.org Certified 48Gb/s HDMI 2.1 cables in existence currently, it is what it is. I can confirm this cable works with RTX 3080 and LG E9 (and C9) OLED TV (f/w 5.00.03) for 4K 120Hz Full RGB 4:4:4 w/ HDR & Gsync!
