I purchased this in place of the audioquest simply because it was less and I needed a longer cable after purchasing a new tv. As mentioned the cable serves its purpose and does send a signal regardless of the fit.

These work just fine. Was able to snake them from my tv, through the wall, and into my receiver with some room to spare.

This product was suggested to me by one of the bestbuy employees to fix the issue and it worked great. You do have to turn the tv speakers off because they will continue to play along with the sound bar.

Note. Be very careful pushing it in make sure its in properly than push straaaight and hard till it clicks but nit too hard
