Exactly What I Needed

Onkyo Receiver is an old receiver with no HDMI input, but Receiver is working well and optical cables were my only option. Sounds great and allows me to get extra mileage out of the receiver.

HDMI input on soundbar worked fine when viewing programs from the cable box, but soundbar did not work when streaming. Now all is well either through cable or streaming using the optical cable.

So I am assuming it worked for him. Because he did not tell me to return it to the store. He is a stickler of keeping items around the house we are not using.

I have had and still have "high end" cables that cost 3 times more that I doubt most people would be able to hear the difference between them.
