Thus optical Audi cable solved a big problem for me as I can now turn on my Vizio sound bar using TV remote and also doesn't have to change the audio source every single time on my LG OLED.

Needed cables for a soundbar that I bought from a family friend. Decided to go the optical route rather than RCA cable based on the knowledge the store representative shared with me extremely easy install, perfect for what I needed.

I have to buy this length to reach from the TV to the receiver every 8 to 9 months. Don’t know if its the cord or the TV that make the cord go bad.

Optical cables haven’t changed much over the years, but the larger head on this or. Is easier to hold onto, and thereby easier to manage.

A little more pricey than some but works very well, slips out if not properly seated.

I needed this set to provide sound from my new HD television and Blue Ray player, to my older stereo receiver & external speakers. They worked fine using a Best Buy converter box, but they should have told me to remove the little plastic covers that came on the ends of the audio cables. Having never used them before, I had a hard time figuring out how to finally make the connection!

Used this cable for audio out, digital audio was the only choice. Ran this to an digital to analog converter and the out to a Bluetooth device. First exposure to digital audio. Being old school I just had to convert back to analog. Lol. Be warned - if you are going to analog you'll see a significant delay to the video. Good way to learn how to lip read though. Ha!

Bought this to replace the cable that came with my soundbar. I was getting choppy/intermittent audio and decided to replace the optical cable instead of the whole soundbar. This cable seems to have fixed the issue. It works!
