It's an optical cable, it works, what else is there to say? For everyday purposes this is a fairly priced cable and construction seems solid. Owners of high-end systems may want to buy something more exotic, but I don't see the need.

Got a new sound bar and sub and no extra hdmi outputs, but this worked just as well.
