    We asked the sales associate if this was needed with the sound bar we purchased. He told us there was one in the packaging. Wrong! There was an HDMI cable in the box, but not the optical audio cable. It works great with our Samsung TV and Klipsch sound bar.

    I have this hooked up to my 65" QLED and Sony receiver. The sound does cut in and out but I think it is because the receiver is so old. I like the length of the cord and it does feel durable.
