For the price, this is an acceptable optical cable.

Works fine. It does what I need and was easy to set up.

There are thin plastic caps on the ends, hard to see. THis is old tech, try to do something else if possible.

The rocket fish optical was definitely the way to go with 4K sound via tv or blu ray dvd.
