Had drilled holes in the wall for laying various cables and was ready to mount tv and thats when i realized i forgot to purchase optical. I was tired and really wanted to finish the job so had to purchase this only available item in the store. Same as any toslink but 3-5 times expensive.

I will be returning this item for the correct item next week. I was delayed in returning it due family funeral and car repair.

My TV's sound was very annoying and sharp when my music Shows were on. The Voice and American Idol are 2 of my favorites. When people would sing it didn't sound like the right tone. Now with my 2.0 sound bare I can have more bass and treble on my programs.Now I don't have headaches from listening to Grammys, Oscars or any programs I want to watch. Thank You Best Buy for such Quality equipment to make music sound Beautiful again. KAREN G.

It’s signal is broken. Didn’t connect it until one day after the return date. So, I bought nothing of use and stuck with it/the costs.

With the new TV I needed a longer cable and the ends on these simply do not fit. It appears the connectors were just not made correctly. I bought a 6’ set of the Insignia toslink cables and they slid right into place. I would definitely NOT recommend these cables!
