Yeah I know I could have bought a cheaper cable, it was the only I stick option behind a more expensive version. It can't handle the newest formats, not future proofed.

This Optic cable will not interface with RCA BOSE!

Geek Squad should have set this up when they delivered my set. Intead they told me what to buy and neither the Optic Cable or the converter will work to allow me to use my expensive Bose Sound System. $ 60.00 dollars wasted on Cable and converter Box .

I needed a better quality cord this one was cutting out, but I use it on a different device, which doesn’t require the better stuff. This is like mid grade, not Dolby digital

I can see that hisense tv connection emitted a light out of the optical cable so the line seemed up. But insignia sound bar never picked it up. I am disappointed.
