Nice cable, worked completely as expected.

Worked well to connect an older surround sound system to a newer Samsung TV set with the external connectivity hub. Let me amplify any audio on the TV via the older system and enabled Dolby Digital 5.1.

I needed another audio connection from my tv to my audio/video receiver so I could have surround sound when streaming from my Roku. This did the trick.

Am still playing with the settings on the receiver because the HDMI and normal AV cords seem to produce better sound through the receiver. All in all, I'm happy with the purchase

No matter how long the fiber optic cable is, there is no degradation in the signal. The sound from the speaker is so clear and free of distortion.
