This unit does not support bi-directional capability. Nothing on the packaging indicated this lack of support or ability. Do NOT buy this item.

My internet still kept dropping out. The cable technician tested my cables with this unit installed and it failed the test and had to be replaced with one of their splitters. I wish I could return it but I threw away the packaging.
