    For several years the quality of my high definition signal to one of my two TV's was not good. After checking with my cable company upon getting a new TV and having the same problem I decided to replace my splitter. It solved the problem.

    Low Noise, Right Impedance, Low attenuation. What more can you ask? They make other splitters as well that are equally as good. Note, if you do not use one of the out-going taps, you really ought to screw a 75ohm impedance load/cap onto it to prevent reflection. Not a great selection of splitters to choose from so this is a bit overpriced - the "gold" is really superflous.

    I got this splitter because of its high MHz output of 2000+. I have spectrum cable, but when I would use a splitter by the installer I can see my speed was struggling. The MHz output was very low and the Receive was taking more juice. I bought this splitter knowing it would help with the internet and it did. I noticed a difference with the speed.
