    This works like all other splitters. Don’t let the gold fool you. The gold doesn’t make this work any better. Just splits co axial cable, like your tv cable to other rooms in your house. If you split the cable that goes to your router to broadcast WiFi in your house.... you still could have problems with your WiFi dropping. This product will not fix that problem. Hope this helps someone.

    I was hesitant to use the 10 year old splitter ive owned not knowing if it would not allow full signal. Purchased this one and it works great with my new modem. No problems.
