Customers are impressed with the quality and ease of use of the 30' 16 Gauge Pure Copper Speaker Wire. Many appreciate it as a reliable speaker wire, particularly liking the 16-gauge size and the convenient length for installations. However, a few customers have noted issues with reversed markings and the absence of color coding. On the positive side, some users have reported the absence of buzz or distortion.

I guess it's ok. Didn't actually use because the system I wanted was damaged and the replacement one didn't need speaker wire.

If you're in a pinch like I was at the time this could be an option to get you by for a while. If you can hold out a couple days look elsewhere. I struggled to get the two strands of this wire to separate. The clear plastic coating around the wiring is too thick, making this difficult to separate. I ended up wasting my money on this product that I never actually got to use. Stick to a cheap and famous name brand from an online e-tailer instead. This certainly isn't worth the extra cost and frustration.

I mean it gets the job done. The wire covering is ridiculously hard to split.

Speaker wire does not have a colored line on one of the wires thus you need at minimum an ohm meter as well as a marker of some type to make sure the phasing is correct. Found that the easiest and safest way to separate the bound wires in-order to make a connection for both speakers and amplifier is to use a scissors to cut the wires apart. It is also hard to trim off the insulation to expose the bare wire.

The copper wire itself is fine, but the sheath is terrible.
First, it's way too thick. The volume of the cabling is like 90% sheath. This makes it hard to strip properly.
Second, it will not separate into two pieces without a knife or blade of some type. This is unacceptable for speaker wire.
I returned it.

Too expensive for only 30 feet, but I needed it right away. It's decent quality wire, but the rubber covering is really thick. Really, REALLY thick!!! Splitting them was hard enough, and I actually needed to use the 20 gauge setting on my pliers to strip them, which was also an adventure. Maybe some people prefer really thick coating, depending on where they need it.
These definitely wouldn't be my first choice in the future.

It was the only speaker cable at the store and I ended up splicing in old cable as I needed more than 100 ft. But, it works fine.

Good wire but so hard to split and to remove the rubber encasement.

Good product, however I would recommend the flat white one. If you plan to conceal the wire I would not recommend this unless you have space. I only purchased this because the white flat one was out of stock. This is not easy to conceal.
