The only reason this is getting 4 instead of 5 stars is due to the thickness of the insulation. It's a little too thick, made stripping it more of a chore than it really needed to be.

I bought a new TV and needed new speaker wire to hook up my component speakers to it, the wire was great.

Unless you have extreme high end speakers this is a good wire for the dollar

I suppose it is not audiophile quality but then it not $50 and up a foot. This stuff has been used for many years and does a very satisfactory job. Right now I have the wires going to my subwoofer and then to the main stereo pair of speakers and that uses a lot of wire. I may someday move the sub up front too and use a nice audioquest wire. Just to see if there is an audio difference.

This is really good speaker wire. It isn't cheap, but you get what you pay for. Highly recommended.

The wire is high quality. It keeps in a roll nicely after you are finished. I think the price was a little too high. The same brand at Wal Mart was about $10.00 less.

This is a nice heavy wire and when running wires along baseboards, the cable lays flat without any memory coiling.
