This improved my TV signal.

I tried a non powered indoor antenna with little success. I bought the amplifier and put it in line between my TV and antenna. We now get a good signal for the local channels plus AETN and some others.

As it is intended to be put in at the entry point of your residence to amplify an already good signal that can be degraded by long cable runs within your residence. Still will also amplify blocking or noise when the signal is bad due to weather outside, so expected that in lightning storms we get here, again working as described and designed in that regard. But otherwise perfect for me and my cables inside.
