Coax power issue

However, the unit would not power on and I discovered that the coax must deliver 12V or else it will not work (e.g. the Terk power injector is only 9V). Also, the unit will not pass through the signal if the power is off. Lastly, the AC adapter can become quite hot. I suggest that the manufacturer reword the product description so it is clear that not all DC powered components will work with this splitter.
