    I had lightening run in from my antenna and fry my other tv through the antenna connection. This not only amplifies my signal but it provides a buffer for me when that happens again.

    This splitter seems to be great. It does take a power supply, which Best Buy Associates didn't tell me, but I worked it out. Family member has one says no problems for them either.

    I got the Rocketfish™ - Bidirectional Mini Drop Amplifier because the reception was still pixelating once the antennae was connected. The Amplifier took care of the problem.

    I had a roof antennae installed but had too many tvs linked to the system. This booster got all tvs all the channels available. It made me so happy.
