The slight amplification compensates for the signal loss due to splitting the signal. Would have been nice to include a gain trimmer to adjust the amount of amplification necessary.

Powerful and easy to use
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I used this product to amplify a signal that was coming from an existing splitter. The weak signal was pixelating the video on the TV. I installed the Rocket fish splitter and the problem disappeared!

Provides a Great, Clean Signal Boost for DTV Air
