We purchased this but ended up not using/or needing it for our connection.

Split the signal from one outdoor antenna to three TVs. Channels appear clear and all three TVs work at the same time.

This is a great purchase if you're losing signal to your TV or internet. If you live in apartment and you're running TV and Internet off the same coax you need this.

I have a long run (50' +) of cable going across my house. After the cable was split to install a new jack in another room the cable outlet on the end had poor performance. So I bought this amp and replaced the splitter that was currently in use. While the signal was remarkably improved it was still not as good as it should have been. This tells me the product does what it is supposed to do but I'm afraid that my setup with the distance involved requires a different solution. My only complaint about this is the length of the power cord. Since I was working in an attic I have few power resources - fortunately I was able to use an extnsion cord to be able to test this solution out. If it had worked I would have just wired a new outlet in to use. The cord is relatively short and would have been better if longer.

we were having problems losing signal with our old splitter, but this amplifier solved the problem. i can now watch tv and surf the internet without losing speed

Definetly requires power outlet to supply 4 outlets.

It does the job. Buy terminators for unused ports.
