Not what I had hoped for

I've had past experience with a cable company "amplifier" because of the distance from the road (about 350') to the house. That turned out a fail also. After rebuilding our house complete with coax and LAN run to each room, I figured I'd give it another go. This "amplifier" added so much line noise that when we went above the double digit channels the picture had so many artifacts that it was unwatchable. We had a running joke that depending what we wanted to watch we'd have to UNPLUG THE AMPLIFIER!! Never did get the TV in the BR hooked up. That one(Wifi/Lan) will probably be the beginning of us cutting the cord!

Can't make a very fair rating

Maybe it was the age of the router (~ 5 yrs old), but I don't know. Returned it and got an unpowered one that worked fine.
