Was supposed to work, but didn't...
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I read quite a bit about using various video amplifiers to boost the digital signal from OTA antennas before I bought this amp. We had approx. 20-25 digital channels available through a 3-way passive splitter before I attached this amp to the incoming signal. Following the directions, I removed the splitter and connected this amp to AC power once all the connections were made. Lost all but about 5 channels. It basically attenuated the digital signal instead of amplifying it. So, this item went right back the next day after installing it. I would not recommend this product.

No signal boost at all
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this item to see if I could amplify my signal from my outdoor antenna. Prior to connecting the Rockfish, I checked the signal strength on my Panasonic Plasma - still a great television. I then connected the Rockfish and checked the signal strength - no change at all. I left it hooked up for two days hoping for a different result, but still no signal amplification. Maybe a good splitter, but not recommended by me for increasing signal strength.

Okay for just splitter.
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great as a splitter, but does NOT help internet speeds at all. Not worth the price tag for just a splitter.

Didn't work - had to return
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This actually made my signal on cable TV worse and had to return it to the store. Got another splitter from Comcast and it worked well.

Don't buy
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This product like most so called signal amplifiers I have tried in the past work the same as a regular splitter at sometimes more than double the price. This one however worked much worse than the regular splitter I was using because it not only didn't amplify the signal for the internet it made the perfectly fine picture on the T.V. all scrambled and blocky and would make it freeze at random times. Maybe I bought a defect but none of the 2-3 amplifiers I have bought and tried over the past 20 or so years have worked like they say they would and this one made things worse.
