I purchased this on the recommendation of one of the employees. However when I returned home, I still could not split my cable feed to use a set top box and router off the same line.

I currently have the Clearstream 4Max in my garage. I thought I could use this to amplify the antenna signal and get more channels and/or increase signal strength. Unfortunately, it did the opposite... I lost 75% of my channels and it did not improve the picture quality of the few channels I did get.

Power input has to wiggle around to get light to come on. I am going to mark yes on the recommendation because maybe is not available.

This was to replace a commercial quality drop amp and 4 way splitter as separate amplified outlets are supposed to be better than using an amp and splitter setup. This made no difference. I returned this, bought a PCT commercial quality unit and get more channels.

Worked ok for the first 3 weeks. Helped a little but made a handful of channels worse. Then out of no where stopped working all together. On indicator light is on but my tv's say theres no signal. If i disconnect it and hook up a regular splitter works fine. DO NOT BUY COMPLETE JUNK.

I purchased this to add a boost to my cable modem's weak upstream signal. Not only did it not boost signal, it blocked the upstream entirely. I'll be returning it. Not a good fit for my needs.

Plugged it in, the channels immediately got WORSE. Some of them dropped completely! Left it on for a little after re-running the channels via our TIVO, didn't get better. Waste of money.

I did not need this item. I purchased it incase the signal strength was weak and would need to be boosted. The outdoor antenna I purchased along with this item worked well and supplied a strong and steady signal without the bidirectional booster.

This thing didn't work at all. The cable box and router hooked into it kept cycling causing the router to reset about every hour and same with the cable box. Took this thing off and used a standard splitter and everything worked perfectly!
