Replaced a passive 3:1 splitter on my cable service w/ this - had one 3:1 splitter for TV, phone, and cable modem, and then the TV was split 3:1 again for the 3 TV's hooked up to cable. Replaced the downstream splitter w/ this device and TV reception is much improved - no more dropouts or pixelated images. Bidirectional works fine as the on-demand functions on the digital cable still operate fine.

I have over 400 ft of coaxial cable between my cable hook up and one of my TVs. I was only getting some of the lower channels. I installed the amplifier and now I get over 300 channels. Great item. Highly recommended.

Have a tv outlet for 8 cable tv's. wanted to add nother tv and needed a splitter to add. this came with a amplifier whuch would help the signal since I was near the limit. Works great and no signal loss

Bought the Clearstream 4v Antenna and this amp to help split to multiple TV sets. made a big difference on the long cable runs i have. helps clear up blocky pictures!

I was having problems with my Xfinity X1 dvr when it shares the signal via a splitter with my internet cable modem. But I didn't feel like calling a waiting for a "technician" when I know issue is just signal strength so buy this thing to replace my previous (non powered) splitter and went from having to reset... excuse me... "power cycle" my Cable box and modem almost daily to constant operation with no issues and speed test even show my internet speed at almost 100 mbps when I'm only subscribed to 75 mbps!

My initial attempts to replace my expensive Cable TV were rather disappointing. With Over-The-Air [OTA], or Broadcast TV, the TV Display would "Freeze", "Pixilate", and/or, the Audio [Sound] would "Fade" In & Out. Also, I live in a condo where the Home Owners Association [HOA] forbids the use of External, Rooftop Antennas. I wasn't sure about what to do. This "Cable Amplifier" did the trick. I am now on my way towards dropping my Cable TV service, and enjoying FREE, OTA, Broadcast TV !!!

I was advised of the advantages of buying this splitter. It does just what the salesperson stated. I'm satisfied.....just wish it would have been $20 cheaper.

I purchased this to cure problems with the picture on my Comcast HD reception. Well it did what it was suppose to do. All of my HD and digital content is coming in clear.

I used this to boost antenna signals to 4 TVs and it works great. Got a couple more channels than I did before the amp and connecting other 3 TVs

The box says this is for cable but I used it to split/amplify my OTA antenna. It works great. Now all my TVs work off one antenna. I am very happy.

Worked for me as advertised. Before booster my antenna signal was not strong enough to travel through the house. I also like the small form factor of this splitter.

I bought this to try and cure my weak internet signal. My internet would cut out because of the long coax run to my house. The product I had bought before was the Motorola single in-single out broadband amplifier that I highly recommend. Best Buy stopped carrying it so I tried this out. The downlink signal is amplified slightly (~3dB) while the uplink is made WORSE by -7dB. I bought it without throughtly reading all the details and the guy said it'd work fine for internet. Definitely made it worse, find somewhere else to buy the broadband amplifier if you need an internet amp. I'm sure this product would work decently for cable television. I'm bummed I threw away the box and cant return this $50 paperweight.
