When the very large Samsung HDTV unexpectedly stopped working one evening it took an hour or so to determine the Optical Audio Cable somehow got damaged - sliced actually, clean through. Fortunately, Best Buy had a replacement cable available in stock for immediate purchase. Yay - Best Buy and Rocket Fish saved what could have been an ugly scene from occurring. Still, no clue as to how the original cable got cut but, at least Mom was able to watch her favorite cooking show without getting Knives Out. NOTE: when installing this cable, make certain the protective cap on each end is first removed. The cable works much better this way.

This new Optical Audio Cable installed easily and provided the quality audio connection I needed to connect our newer television to our older amplifier. The one I used before was a much more expensive, but shorter cable which wold fit when we hung the television from the wall and ran all the cables behind the wall. The shorter cable which I used this purchase to replace was a much more expensive cable. This one took its place and had no identifiable audio denigration.

This cable is well designed and constructed. The length was perfect for my application and worked great for picture and sound from my tv to old stereo however I had to return it since my new audio bar was not compatible with this and I needed an HDMI-ARC cable instead.

My bluetooth transmitter has an optical input. The Rocketfish cable was the right length and it was on sale. As with other Rocketfish cables I have used, the optical cable looks like a high quality cable, it made a good, tight connection and audio sounds great.

This was a quality cable and the perfect length. Was able to plug it in after I realized there a little plastic cap covering the tip of the plug. (kind of felt silly) The quality seems good and the price was fair. We have it connecting our soundbar and TV.

Needed an optic audio cable to connect TV and stereo. The TV was mounted and the stereo was in a hutch, so needed a long optic cable that would work well and could be hidden easily. This did the trick and now the family can watch programming and movies in surround sound.
