They worked fine using a Best Buy converter box, but they should have told me to remove the little plastic covers that came on the ends of the audio cables. Having never used them before, I had a hard time figuring out how to finally make the connection!

Great optical cable!

I was getting choppy/intermittent audio and decided to replace the optical cable instead of the whole soundbar. This cable seems to have fixed the issue. It works!

Ran this to an digital to analog converter and the out to a Bluetooth device. First exposure to digital audio. Being old school I just had to convert back to analog. Lol. Be warned - if you are going to analog you'll see a significant delay to the video. Good way to learn how to lip read though. Ha!
