    When there aren`t enough HDMI outlets, the optical audio connection is necessary, and Rocketfish is the way to go.

    This connected to my new receiver and tv very well. It did help the audio delay a bit from lips moving to the sound coming out of my speakers.

    Connecting to an older amp that did not seem to be working with RCA connections but did have optical. That's where the Optical Audio cable came into play. Worked great and now able to do surround a sound again. Little pricey though.
