Optical cables are definitely the way to go if you want the best sound out of your system. I would highly recommend anybody looking to up their game to switch to fiber-optic cabling as opposed to HDMI, much faster and better quality sound.

I bought a soundbar in order to further enhance my listening experience on both TV shows with music and talk shows. I needed a optical cable to hook up to my cable box outlet and true to form, Best Buy had several in stock. I've used it for 5 wks now and it performs perfectly.

I was kind of forced to try a digital audio cable to resolve my connection problems between my TV and stereo. I'm really glad I did! The digital audio cable provides very clean, clear audio, with no problems or drawbacks that I have experienced. Highly recommend!

I highly recommend you use an optical audio cable over all other options when setting up your surround system. Mine is installed between the TV and a Yamaha receiver. This replaced a HDMI cable. to carry audio. This one little change made a dramatic difference in the quality of my surround sound.

Great product! Made the purchase after my old, and apparently no longer functioning digital optical cable went out.

I've had several challenges with connecting my home theater to my TV and this optical cord has done the trick to getting all of the sound on track.

Bought this cable and it looked really nice! So I ran it through the wall with the other cables going to my TV,being that I’m using the new options on the new TV like Netflix etc. So I needed the cable to get 5.1 audio to my receiver and it works great and went through the wall and tight spaces with no issues.

This cable does as advertised, it enabled my older receiver to receive digital audio, and was available at an affordable price. Thanks Best Buy!

Got this cable to hook up the new soundbar that I purchased on Black Friday. Nice quality cable. It's also nice that it comes in different lengths so you can purchase the length you need and not end up with more of a spaghetti mess behind your TV and all the other cords you might have back there.
