I called Geek Squad and they suggested I watch it through my "Smart" dvd blu ray player, which worked. But then that stopped working so I bought and installed the Rocketfish Toslink Optical Audio Cable and problem solved. Everything works great. The installation was so easy - just plug it in the respective port on the tv and receiver and you are set - good to go!

The plug fits snugly with a click. Just don't forget to remove the tiny plastic covers from each end of the cable first (blush)! Rocketfish is a BestBuy brand and when it comes to digital cables, there's no reason to pay more for Monster, IMHO.
