    So there is another cable type and this is it. It works and is easy to plug in. The only down side of this is having to plug it into the back of a TV without good lighting, a bit of a pain.

    Bought the optical cable to hook up a Roku sound bar to a TV that did not have a HDMI/ARC port. The sound is great and totally in-sync with the picture.

    These were perfect for our audio to our TV. Made the sound quality much better. Our Roku TV wouldn't except the other audio cables and this worked out better.
