    Not sure why it's called optical since it's for sound but the sound it produces is excellent! These suckers are pricey but you'll notice the difference.

    This optical cable worked great on my old Pioneer receiver. Watching movies (and TV shows) with the serious surround sound through the speakers is like theatre quality. Plus the great price.
