Insulation is super thick, and the wire is not brittle at all. Have used in the past on car subwoofers. This purchase was for my home audio speakers. Have bought before and will continue to buy again in the future.

Only complaint would be that the markings or nearly invisible, making it difficult to be sure you're connecting - to - and + to +. But I managed.

Old technology but still needed…

But some do with quality older speakers that outperform newer ones. A shame that as technology advances the better part of old technology gets shuffled away. I’d you need speaker wire, this is fine,

Don't do it! get the good stuff! I was a fool for spending $3000 on my stereo and speakers and $7.99 on the wire. No more! Stay with quality all the way around!
