It wasn’t easy to strip (though I probably didn’t have the correct tool) …. The wires kept on falling out in little pieces. Kinda a pain to hide wires unless you run it thru walls / ceilings. The wire is thick and feels like it’s good quality.

Seems to be pure copper as stated, but price is a little steep compared to Amazon ( yes I know, it's Amazon ). Rocketfish seems to produce good audio/video components.
