    I use this speaker wire on my 1200 watt Onkyo 6.1 Surround sound System with 8ohm speakers and it works absolutely great. The housing is a bit thicker than I'm used to with 16GA, but it's still within the realm of acceptability. I've not used it long enough to know whether it'll oxidize, but I guess time will tell. I've worked with electronics long enough that I know by now to cut longer than I need and have slack when I need it to cut down more wire. Works great in my banana plugs.

    I bought this to wire some car audio. Works well and super durable. I struggled a bit with getting the wires themselves separated. However that’s not a “bad thing” and with proper tools the speaker wire is a breeze to use.

    It works. Its not too irritating to split it and not too tough to cut through. Its annoying how fibers get everywhere but I suspect thats the case with any copper speaker wire. You can fix that by twisting it before use.
