I used this to hook up my outside TV antenna to my Dish receiver box so I could have over the air local channels. Better reception than through the satellite. Not sure about the manufacture's lifetime warrantee using it outdoors? I will find out.

This is a very good coaxial cable that I'm using with a splitter to get two over-the air antennas (one is better overall, the other picks up a station I can't otherwise get) to my TV.
