At first we didn't know whether to hook up inside or outside thus the length of this cable. At this time our decision was to place it inside which works great. I really prefer Rocketfish products and own several ones. It is a great product as with all of their products. The cable is easy to install and I suppose you can use it for other items with the proper fittings. The Rocketfish products seem to last longer than other brands.
